Hot Spots
- It is very possible that many of these problem areas will probably have decreased due to enforced expectations that students get to class on time, attend class, and eat lunch in limited areas. It is also thought that the visibility of all administrators and more teachers being out in the hall during passing period has helped students behave more positively.
- Given that we have the opportunity to add 2 additional questions to the Olweus Questionnaire, it would be beneficial to ask students what kind of bullying is happening while the teacher is in the classroom and where 'Somewhere Else in School' is.
- How do we monitor the stairwells? And which stairwells are more of a problem? Can we separate data for 'stairwells' and 'hallways'?
- On the topic of not having students roaming around the school, it was asked what we are going to do with early release students next semester. Many of them come back for practice or don't have transportation to leave. Do we have a designated area(s) that they can go if they want to study during that time?
